Knapped flint is where the stone is shaped, to reveal the flints  interior. Often the flint nodule will be split in half to create two pieces, each with a relatively flat face with the sides squared off to minimize the pointing gap between each piece. All of our stone is hand knapped using conventional methods.

Our knapped flint come in a range of colours from black to grey and also dark blue or brown.
